Training to Get in Shape

Join the Madison Mileage Club
  • When: Mon - Fri @ 4:00pm
  • Where: Memorial HS - Art/Business Hallway
  • Why: to get in shape
  • Who: Anyone that wants to get in shape (Female or Male)
  • What: 2 - 7 miles of running (you choose) AND speed drills and lifting

All skill levels welcome. Come one or all five days a week. Dress to run outside.
Your competition is doing it, you might as well get caught up :)

Madison Mileage Club - 1,000 Mile Members

Madison Mileage Club is accepting 1,000 Mile Club members. Do you want to join?

Here is How it Works...

Count miles from January 1st until the fall cross country season. In that time, run 1,000 miles and you become a member and get all of the benefits of being in the 1,000 Mile Club member.

1,000 miles may seem like a large number, but don’t let that scare you off. Some quick math shows that to get to 1,000 miles from January to mid-August if you average 5 miles a day for 6 days a week OR in other words just 30 miles/week and you are a member.

Let us know if you are interested, start counting and sending your mileage in, and accumulate 1,000 miles. Find yourself a partner or two and run the miles together.

Madison Mileage Club Summer Running Camp

July 11 (Mon) – July 14 (Thur), 2022

This summer will be the 13th annual Summer Distance Camp. The camp will be held July 11-14 at the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station (CWES), just outside of Amherst Junction, WI. The camp will consist of training runs, team building activities, waterfront activities, meals, speakers, and time to get to know and have fun with your running mates. The cost of the camp will be $206. This will cover all expenses, including camp shirt, lodging for 3 nights, meals for 4 days, and use of facilities at CWES. This will be a great time to hang out with friends and continue your summer training.


Typical Daily Schedule

Interested individuals should complete the necessary forms and return with a $206 check made out to CWES. Forms that need to be completed include; insurance, health and waiver forms (Sent in June...once check is received).
